IMOU AOV PT 5MP 4G & Wi-Fi Solar-Powered Security Camera – Wireless Surveillance with Always-on Video Technology

The IMOU AOV PT 5MP 4G + Wi-Fi is an outdoor security camera designed to provide protection even in locations without a fixed Internet connection or mains power supply.

Thanks to its dual 4G LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity, 10,000 mAh rechargeable battery, and included 5 W solar panel, it offers a versatile solution for homes, gardens, land, construction sites, farms, and other outdoor areas.

The 5 MP sensor (2880 × 1620 pixels) delivers detailed images, while Always-on Video (AOV) technology enables extended monitoring with low power consumption. The camera creates time-lapse video sequences at scheduled intervals and records full video clips when an alarm event is detected.

The IMOU Sense smart detection system recognizes people and supports automatic subject tracking (Auto Tracking). Horizontal rotation of up to 340° and vertical rotation of up to 90° allow monitoring of a wide area.

The camera also features night vision up to 20 meters, two-way audio communication, a siren, and spotlights for active deterrence.

With an IP66 protection rating, it is designed to withstand outdoor weather conditions. Remote management is available through the IMOU App for iOS and Android devices.

Important note: The SIM card is not included in the package. To use the 4G LTE connection, a compatible SIM card with an active data plan must be purchased separately.

Always-on Video (AOV) Technology

AOV (Always-on Video) technology enables extended monitoring while reducing battery consumption.

During normal operation, the camera captures images at scheduled intervals and combines them into time-lapse videos. When an alarm event is detected, it switches to event video recording.

This mode provides more comprehensive footage than traditional battery-powered cameras that record only when motion is detected.

AOV recording is not continuous full-frame-rate video recording: it combines time-lapse sequences with event recordings.

Solar Power and Battery Life

The IMOU AOV PT features a 10,000 mAh rechargeable battery and comes with a 5 W solar panel.

According to the reference conditions stated by IMOU, approximately 2 hours of adequate sunlight per day can offset the power consumption of up to 100 event activations per day.

Actual battery life depends on sun exposure, weather conditions, temperature, network coverage, and recording frequency.
